I am pleased to present RED Engineering Design’s Environmental and Social Impact Report, which reflects our performance in 2024. This report underscores our commitment to transparency in how we manage environmental, social and governance topics as a leading engineering consultancy, recognised for our expertise in the design of mission-critical data centre buildings, campuses, and infrastructure.
2024 was a successful year for RED Engineering Design. The critical nature of the services we provide, particularly in the data centre sector, has never been more evident. As demand for resilient infrastructure continues to grow, so too do the opportunities for RED. However, with growth comes responsibility. While we recognise the importance of our work, we remain steadfast in our commitment to business resilience, ensuring we operate with integrity and accountability in how we support our people, stakeholders, and the environments in which we work and design.
This report is designed to provide a transparent view of our non-financial practices and performance. A key evolution this year is the expansion of our reporting scope: alongside our environmental commitments, we have expanded on our social value strategy and governance initiatives. We achieve this by presenting key metrics across these areas, demonstrating not only our environmental impact but also our approach to social responsibility and governance, which we regard as fundamental to our license to operate.
